Important Summer Weather Update from Ted’s Veg 19/06/2025

Dear Valued Customer,

We hope you're enjoying the sunshine! With the recent high temperatures reaching up to 30°C, we wanted to keep you informed about how the heat may affect our deliveries and how you can help us keep your produce fresh—especially dairy and chilled items.

Keep It Cool: Help Us Protect Your Chilled Products

Due to the ongoing heatwave, chilled and dairy products are more sensitive during delivery. While we’re taking every measure to keep your order fresh in transit—including insulated boxes and cooler bags—your help at the doorstep makes a big difference.

Here’s how you can assist:

  • Have a cool bag, box, or fridge ready to transfer items immediately after delivery.

  • Leave out a cool box with ice packs if you won’t be in at the time of delivery.

  • Let us know a safe shaded spot to leave your order if no one is in.

These simple steps help protect the quality and safety of items like milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, and any pre-chilled veg or deli goods.

What We're Doing

  • All chilled items are packed in insulated containers with care.

  • Our delivery vans are operating with increased cooling precautions.

  • We’re prioritising very early morning delivery slots to beat the midday heat.
